Opened in 1967, we are a non-profit, community-based Preschool, situated in the Bishopdale area. We have provided quality care and education for the children of our local community for over 50 years. We are also a peanut butter friendly centre.

Our programmes are carefully crafted to meet the development of the each and every child. Each child has a Personal Profile Book in which their achievements and progress from their first day are recorded.

“When we first walked into Cotswold Preschool and Nursery we instantly knew our 2 children would thrive there. The school had a non-clinical feel about it. There was none of this 'us and them', creating a very family oriented atmosphere. Not only are the staff educators to our 2 children but they are friends. We also felt the Cultural Diversity within the school added to our children’s social development where they were coming home speaking Chinese, singing in Maori and dancing Indian dances - fantastic! The environmental education within the school is outstanding. Our 2 children still talk about the day they released the preschool baby Salmon back into the wild.
